						SR., 82, of Bayonne and BRICK
						March 29, 2008
						
						ROBERT A. DOKUS SR., 82, of Bayonne and BRICK, 
						died Friday, March 28, at the Reformed Church Home, Old 
						Bridge. He was a retired chief maintenance supervisor 
						for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey for 32 
						years, retiring in 1988. He was a World War II Navy 
						veteran. Born in Bayonne, he resided in Old Bridge, 
						Brick and Bayonne.
						
						He was predeceased by his wife, Anne J. Burke Dokus; and 
						a son, Kenneth Dokus. Surviving are two sons, Robert A. 
						Dokus Jr. and his wife Leslie Trawin Dokus, and Stephen 
						Dokus and his wife Mary Rose McGlynn Dokus; two 
						daughters, Eileen Szatkowski and her husband Edward, and 
						Laura Kosakowski and her husband Albert; a 
						daughter-in-law, Rita; a brother, Donald Dokus; 12 
						grandchildren, Edward and David Szatkowski, Samuel, 
						Stephen, Catherine, Joseph, Kristy, Kenneth, and Robert 
						Dokus, and Christina, Melissa, and Megan Kosakowski; and 
						many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
						
						Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing 
						from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the G. Keenen 
						O'Brien Funeral Home, 984 Avenue C, Bayonne. A funeral 
						service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral 
						home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 
						North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be 
						made to St. John's "Feed the Hungry," P.O. Box 200147,
