Joseph DeCheser of
Fairfield, 64 Joseph DeCheser of Fairfield died
Sept. 17, 2008, in St. Barnabas Medical Center,
Livingston. He was 64 years old. The Funeral Mass is at
St. Thomas More R.C. Church, Fairfield, Saturday (today)
at 10 a.m. Entombment is in Gate of Heaven Cemetery,
East Hanover.
Arrangements are by
Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St., Montclair. Born in
Orange, Mr. DeCheser lived in West Orange, moving to
Fairfield in 1972. He was a conductor for P.A.T.H.
Trains before retiring in 2008. Mr. DeCheser was a
veteran, serving in the U.S. Coast Guard.
He was predeceased by
three sisters, Lucille Mazzouccolo, MaryAnn Dobbs and
Florence Rothenberger. He is survived by his wife of 39
years, Donna DeCheser (nee Priamiano), also many nieces
and nephews.
