Czekanski CZEKANSKI Stanley Czekanski PATH agent, longtime Union resident, 94 Stanley Czekanski, 94, of Union died on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at home. The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union, on Tuesday at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass is at St. James Church, Springfield, at 9:15 a.m. Entombment is in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Visitation is on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. For directions, visit www.galantefh.com. Born in Pennsylvania, Stanley lived in Newark before moving to Union 48 years ago.
He was an agent for the Port
Authority of New York and New Jersey, working on the
PATH train line for 17 years before retiring 29 years
ago. Stanley was married to his wife, Anne C. (Nee Dombal) for 60 years. He was the brother of Donald, the
late Edmund, Ernest Czekanski and Violet Varrath, as
