
						Raymond V. Busico
						
						
						
BUSICO 
						Raymond V., 84, a lifelong resident of Little Ferry, 
						NJ, on Sunday, September 14, 2008. Beloved husband of 
						Irene A. (nee Fehrs). Loving father of Roger and his 
						wife Valerie, and Brian Busico. Cherished grandfather of 
						Christopher, Sabrina and Derek, and great-grandfather of 
						Cameron. Dear brother of James Busico and the late Helen 
						Heykoop. Caring brother-in-law of Janet Holley and 
						Robert Fehrs. He is also survived by his Godson William 
						R. Holley and many cousins, nieces and nephews. 
						
						
						A US Navy Veteran of WW 
						II, having served on the U.S.S. Lexington. He was an 
						electrical supervisor for the NY & NJ Port Authority of 
						Newark, NJ, for 35 years before retiring in 1985. 
						
						
						During his life, he was a 
						53 year member of the Little Ferry 1st Aid Corps., a 48 
						year member of the Little Ferry Fire Dept., having 
						served as Fire Chief in 1971. He was a Past Commander 
						and member of Little Ferry VFW Post 809. He has been a 
						member of the NJ State Fireman's Association, the NJ 
						Chief's Association, the NJ and NY Volunteer Firemen's 
						Association, a founder of the Little Ferry Little 
						League, the Little Ferry Board of Adjustment and a 
						building official for Little Ferry and the City of 
						Elizabeth.  He was a past member of the Little 
						Ferry American Legion and UNICO. An avid sports player 
						in his youth, he was inducted into the Lodi High School 
						Hall of Fame.
						
						Funeral Services with be 
						held Friday, September 19, 2008 at the Trinka-Faustini 
						Funeral Service, 439 Maywood Ave., Maywood, NJ 07607 
						(201-487-3050) at 10 AM. Burial to follow at Hackensack 
						Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ. Visiting Wednesday and 
						Thursday 3-5, 7-9 PM. Donations in lieu of flowers to 
						the Little Ferry Fire Department or the Little Ferry 1st 
						Aid Corps.
