						BIHUNIAK Walter J. Bihuniak Port Authority 
						policeman, high school teacher, 74 Walter J. Bihuniak, 
						74, of Villas, N.J., formerly of Carteret, died on 
						Monday, May 19, 2008, at Shore Memorial Hospital, Somers 
						Point, N.J. 
						
						A Mass of 
						Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon on 
						Thursday at St. John of God R.C. Church, 680 Town Bank 
						Rd., N. Cape May, N.J., where friends may call after 11 
						a.m. Interment is Friday at 12 noon at St. Gertrude 
						Cemetery, Colonia.
						
						
						Arrangements are by Evoy Funeral Home, N. Cape May. Mr. 
						Bihuniak served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. 
						He was a graduate of Jersey City State College and 
						Rutgers University. He was a daily communicant at St. 
						Josephs R.C. Church in Carteret. Mr. Bihuniak was a 
						former Port Authority of New York & New Jersey policeman 
						and a retired Carteret High School teacher, with 26 
						years of service.
						
						Surviving 
						are his wife, Carole; four daughters, Eileen (Joseph) 
						Dick, Sister Regina Shanti (Mary Jo), Kathleen Bihuniak 
						and Nancy (Robert) Turco; a son, Fr. Michael Bihuniak; 
						seven grandchildren, and a brother, Joseph Bihuniak.
