Joseph Whittaker, Maintenance Group Supervisor

His friends in the Port Authority were saddened to learn of the death of Joseph Whittaker on January 20, 2007.  Mr. Whittaker, who was 49 years old, is survived by his wife, Diane, and son, Kyle.

Mr. Whittaker joined the Port Authority on October 4, 1993.  At the time of his death, he held the position of Maintenance Group Supervisor at LaGuardia Airport. 

Friends will be received at Gilmore's Funeral Home, 191-02 Linden Boulevard, St. Albans, NY on Saturday, January 27, 2007 from 12 - 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at Gilmore's Funeral Home on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at 4 p.m.

Interment will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Linden, NJ on Monday, January 29, 2007.
