						STIPO James J., 
						87 of Brigantine, NJ, formerly of Bogota, NJ died 
						Sunday, November 4, 2007. Before retiring in 1986 he was 
						a construction inspector for the Port of Authority of NY 
						& NJ, Newark for 18 years.  Prior to that he owned 
						and operated Premium Floors, Bogota for 13 years. 
						
						
						He was an Army veteran of 
						WW II having served in the Aleutian campaign and 
						retiring from the Army Reserve as a Lt. Colonel. He was 
						a member of the VFW, former member of the Lions Club, 
						former parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church and was a 
						former councilman, all in Bogota. He was a 4th Degree 
						Knight and a member of the Knights of Columbus, 
						Ridgefield Park and also belonged to the Brigantine 
						Elks. 
						
						Beloved husband of Helen. 
						Devoted father of Diana, Eugene, Julianne Kooistra and 
						her husband Kevin, John and his wife Lisa, Mary Pizza 
						and her husband Frank, Helen Rehm and her husband John. 
						Loving grandfather of Kaela, Sarah, Christopher, Mychal, 
						Katie, Lauren, Alex, Isabella and Jonathan. 
						
						Funeral from the Petrik 
						Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota Saturday 
						morning at 9:30. Mass at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 
						Bogota at 10:30. Interment George Washington Memorial 
						Park, Paramus. 
						
						Visiting Thursday 7-9 PM 
						and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Memorial contributions to St. 
						Judes Children's Hospital, PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN or 
						the South Jersey Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 1084, Brigantine, 
						NJ would be appreciated.
