						Campbell Hall, NY - Kenneth E. Schwetje, 90, of Campbell 
						Hall, died Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Campbell Hall 
						Rehabilitation Center in Campbell Hall.
						
						Kenneth was born January 31, 1917 in Jersey City, N.J., 
						the son of Louis and Edna (Beiswenger) Schwetje.
						
						He was retired from the New York Port Authority as a 
						Port Authority police officer. He was a veteran of World 
						War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was also a member 
						of the VFW, the American Legion in East Rutherford, the 
						Police Benevolent Association and the Port Authority 
						Retiree Association.
						
						He is survived by his sons, Bruce Schwetje of Elmwood 
						Park, N.J. and Glenn Schwetje and wife Pat of Goshen; 
						daughter, Edna Raspantini and husband Tony of Las 
						Cruces, N.M.; stepdaughters, Patty Carr of Ipswich, 
						Mass. and Sharon Treer and husband Paul of Charlotte, 
						N.C.; sisters, Lillian Heck of Hasbrouck Heights, N.J. 
						and Edith Masure of Port Richey, Fla.; grandchildren, 
						Lauren Olimpaito and husband Jeff and Ryan Treer; 
						stepgrandson, Michael Raspantini of Arizona and his 
						nieces and nephews. Kenneth was predeceased by his 
						wives, Dorothy Schwetje and Doris Carr Schwetje; and his 
						sister, Dorothy Harrison.
						
						Visitation will be on Saturday, December 1 from 10-11:30 
						a.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., 
						Goshen with a service in the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. 
						The Rev. David Kingsley will officiate.
						
						Burial will be private in Cresthaven Cemetery, Clifton, 
						N.J. on Saturday.
						
						In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kenneth's 
						name to the Memorial Garden Fund at the First 
						Presbyterian Church of Goshen, 33 Park Place, Goshen.
