						HARVEY Eugene 
						Harvey Sr. Port Authority police officer, WWII Marine, 
						79 Eugene Harvey Sr., 79, of Columbia, S.C., formerly of 
						Belleville, died on Oct. 28, 2007. 
						
						Visitation will be on 
						Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Martins Home for Service 
						Inc., 48 Elm St., Montclair. A funeral service will be 
						held on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Marks United Methodist 
						Church, Elm and Fulton Streets, Montclair. 
						
						Born in Harlem, N.Y., Mr. 
						Harvey was a police officer for the Port Authority of 
						New York/New Jersey for 20 years before retiring in 
						1976. He was also an pari-mutuel clerk at the 
						Meadowlands Race Track. He was a Marine Corps veteran of 
						World War II, a former member of Masonic Eureka Lodge 52 
						F&AM-PHA, Montclair, and a current member of Capital 
						City Lodge 47 F&AM-PHA of Columbia, S.C. 
						
						He was predeceased by his 
						wife, Sara L. Surviving are his sons, Eugene Butch 
						Harvey Jr. and Keith H. Harvey; two daughters, Teresa E. 
						Gray and Jennifer V. H. Malone; eight grandchildren, two 
						great-grandchildren; one brother, Alfred G. Harvey, and 
						one sister, Ruth James.
