His friends at the Port Authority were saddened to learn of the death of Vitaliy Faybyshenko on Sunday, September 16, 2007. Mr. Faybyshenko, who was 38 years old, is survived by his wife, Alexandra, his daughter, Michelle and his parents, Alla and Yefim Faybyshenko.

Mr. Faybyshenko joined the Port Authority on February 28, 2000. At the time of his death he held the position of Senior Auditor in the Audit Department.

A Memorial Service will be held at Nevsky Memorial Chapel, 1700 Coney Island Avenue (between Avenues M&N) on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Interment to follow at the United Hebrew Cemetery, 122 Arthur Kill Road, Staten Island, NY.
