						Obituary Advisory,

						Charles L. Collen

						I worked with Chuck at
JFK for ten years.  He joined the PA in 1963 and
held his last position as the Manager of Business
Administration at LaGuardia Airport until he retired in
						1989.  On May 23, 2007, Charles
						L. Collen died at the age of 83.  I've kept in
contact with him all these years and will miss talking
to him.  May he rest in peace.

						Obituary Advisory,
						Charles L. Collen

						I had the pleasure of
working for Chuck about 20 years ago. My wife was his
secretary in the early '70's.  He was the consummate
						gentleman.
						Chuck was
originally from the mid-west, the youngest of 4 with 3
older sisters. He loved to travel and would frequently
spend New Years Eve on a cruise. He traveled in the arts
& film circles and counted as close friends such stars
as Maureen O'Hara & Candice Bergen.
He worked for United before the PA. During WW
II at 19 years old he piloted 24 bombing missions. Part of the greatest generation in
						every sense of the word.

				Webmaster's Note:  I
did not receive an Obituary notice and did not know Charles but
I felt it appropriate to put down some of the feelings of those
that did remember and were touched by him.
