Mass for Thomas R. Harz, 54, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew's Church, Bayonne.  He died Monday at Bayonne Medical Center.  He was born in Jersey City.

He worked in Staten Island and was Manager, Technical Services Database Administrator for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for 35 years.  He was an Army veteran.  He served from 1972 to 1974.

Surviving are his wife, Gail (Rathyen); two daughters, Kristin Weis and Patricia Harz; and three sisters, Eileen Kaczka, Mary Molish and Cathy Pierce.

Friends will be received at O'Brien's Funeral Home, 984 Avenue C between 46th and 47th Street, Bayonne, N.J. on Thursday, October 12, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  G. Keenen O'Brien Funeral Home, Bayonne, is in charge.
